• ENRICO CECOTTO

Enrico Cecotto, a Venice-based artist, was born in San Donà di Piave in 1986.

He completed his first studies at the Art School of Venice and then he graduated with honours in Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. Determined to undertake the artistic path, he moved to Milan to complete his studies and then graduated with honours at the two-year specialist course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brera (Milan).

Enrico defines his Art as Relational Pop which is multisensory and interactive. His works are giving the audiences a contact experience that aims to provide emotions and evoking moments. He also develops a unique technique that makes him be an eclectic and avant-garde artist. From 2010 to 2014 he attended the Department of Arts and Anthropology of the Sacred Academy of Fine Arts of Brera coordinated by the art historian, Andrea B. del Guercio, and his innate talent soon lead him to establish himself in the artistic field.

In 2008 Enrico realised his first solo show Happy Hour in Venice. In 2018, he was invited by Golosaria organisation for a solo exhibition at Milan Mico Congress. The following year, he presented another solo show at Just Cavalli Milan as the only one representative of the Veneto region during Milan Food Week.

He is currently evolving his art to the sea creatures, in particular the sharks. Thanks to his hometown, he has always been in close contact with the fascinating marine nature that right now it’s enveloping his way of making art. For Enrico, the dark and hidden aspects of the shark represent the message: if the shark stops it die as well as the man does not live in the present has only one destiny, dying.
